The conference “Poles on the Nile: the 2015/2016 season” organized at the University of Warsaw Institute of Archaeology by the Department of the Archaeology of Egypt and Nubia in cooperation with the Polish Centre of Mediterranean Archaeology of the University of Warsaw will gather archaeologists and scholars from associated fields of studies, working on sites in Egypt and Sudan.
A special invited lecture will be given by Dr Derek Welsby from the British Museum: Kawa, a major Kushite town in the Northern Dongola Reach" on Wednesday, 15th June at 6 p.m.
13–16 June 2016, 15–18 June 2015 at the Institute of Archaeology, University of Warsaw, ul. Krakowskie Przedmieście 26/28 in hall 209.
