Call for Papers Polish Archaeology in the Mediterranean 26

The next volume of Polish Archaeology in the Mediterranean is due to be published by the end of 2017. As has been the practice in recent years, PAM 26 will embrace sections on Reports and Studies. Contributors are invited from the field of archaeology and the related sciences, as well as art-historic conservation.

The focus is on research conducted by or with PCMA-led projects within the chronological and territorial scope represented by the activities of Polish researchers: from prehistory to the Islamic period and in countries of the Eastern Mediterranean, Near East, Persian Gulf, Southern Caucasus and north-eastern Africa.

We are particularly interested in original studies on material culture, architecture and pottery, as well as presentations of innovative methods in archaeological research and documentation.

Archaeobotanical or archaeozoological analyses, as well as archaeometric studies and reports on conservation procedures related to PCMA projects are also welcome.

Contributors from outside the PCMA are also encouraged to submit their work. A Special Studies fascicle is planned, encompassing the results of investigations in the Near East, Polish projects but also all research falling within the fields of interest of the Centre.

Please follow the current version of Guidelines for Authors available on the journal’s website:

All texts will be read by independent reviewers (double blind review).

Be reminded that all submitted articles must be original, and the bylined author(s) must have the copyright to the submitted text, illustrations and documentation.
