Polish Archaeology in the Mediterranean
appears annually, in English, presenting the full extent of archaeological, geophysical, restoration and study work carried out by expeditions from the Polish Centre of Mediterranean Archaeology, University of Warsaw. The PCMA is present in the Near East and northeastern Africa (Egypt, Sudan, Cyprus, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Oman, formerly also in Iran). Projects cover all periods, from prehistory and protohistory through the Early Bronze Age in the Near East, the predynastic period and Old and New Kingdoms in Egypt, broadly understood Greco-Roman culture in the southern and eastern parts of the Mediterranean, as well as early Christianity, including medieval Nubian kingdoms in Africa, to the Islamic Age in all of the area in question. All texts are peer-reviewed.
